Job Description:
Holtec International and its subsidiary companies are designing an unfailingly safe and secure source of clean energy using nuclear fission called the SMR-300 small modular reactor. The position is offered by SMR LLC, a member of the Holtec International family—a global turnkey supplier of equipment and systems for the nuclear, solar, geothermal, and fossil power generation sectors of the energy industry. Come join a growing multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers working on the next-generation nuclear power plant.
The analyses will support engineering and licensing requirements, leading to the licensing and construction of the first SMR-300 plant. The Analyst will use, and have the opportunity to learn, various methods and software to perform the analyses. The Engineer will be part of a team executing a U.S. Government cost-shared development program requiring the efficient completion of engineering assignments, including coordination with other analysts in U.S. and offshore operating centers
