Position: 2025 Summer Intern – Information Technology
Location: Palisades Energy
Dates/ Duration: Summer 2025 (approx. May - September)
Holtec Palisades seeks a highly motivated Summer Intern for the company’s Information Technology department located at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.
Palisades is positioned to become the first nuclear power plant in the United States to restart after previously entering the early stages of decommissioning. By joining our team, you will be part of a unique and historic undertaking for the nuclear industry and the nation!
In order to be considered, candidates must be actively enrolled in a college or university. Pay will be determined based on years completed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting End Users with PC/laptops deployment
- Assisting in the movement of PC/laptops, monitors, keyboards, etc. from Warehouse to desired areas
- Loading applications on End Users PC/laptops
Minimum Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- In good academic standing, with a GPA of at least 3.0.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic PC/laptop computer set-up and administrator skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and TEAMS.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Well organized and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and appropriate attitude, appearance, interpersonal skills, and work ethic.
Desirable Additional Qualifications:
- Basic computer network knowledge/skills
- Basic Cyber Security knowledge
- Basic access management knowledge
